With that said if there's no easy fix would I be better off opening the mouse and trying to see what's wrong myself? I'm mechanically inclined and could possibly do this but I don't want to open it if I don't need to. Ive found when its stuck, if I touch my trackpad with my fingers slightly spread apart (similar action to get into mouse scroll) it takes it out of scroll mode and my cursor is able to move again as desired.
It specifically has gotten stuck often times immediately after scrolling via my trackpad.
